What I’m Loving | Baby Edition

Hi, friends & fellow mamas/soon-to-be mamas! My little Luca-love is almost 4 months old! I cannot believe how time flies! It must be because I’m having so much fun, right? 😜 Anyway, I wanted to share a few of my favorite items that we use on a day-to-day for Luca! Everything in the picture is linked below, as well as on my LIKEtoKNOW.it!

First & foremost, satisfied is the biggest understatement to explain how happy I am to have the Owlet SmartSock 2 for Luca! I remember laying awake for hours when Cyan was a baby, only to make sure that he was still breathing. The Owlet SmartSock measures O2 saturation + heart rate to make sure that it’s WNL, and the base notifies you with a loud chime-song if any of the numbers are out of range or if there’s trouble getting a reading. The system also tracks the phases of sleep and creates a graph in the app, allowing you to view any patterns in your baby’s sleep, etc. The Owlet provides me peace of mind, and that’s priceless, in my opinion.

As far as bathtime goes, I’ve been loving the Burt’s Bees Baby Shampoo & Calming Wash followed by the Burt’s Bees Baby Original Nourishing Lotion. Plant-based, these products are formulated with Soy Proteins & enriched with Vitamin B to provide gentle cleansing and moisture, leaving baby’s skin silky, soft, & smooth. The lavender & vanilla scent is super relaxing & makes cuddling up with baby even more amazing, if you can imagine!

I’ve also been loving the Burt’s Bees Baby clothing line! The footies are made of organic cotton and come in so many cute prints! (The spring collection is available now!)

For swaddles & burp cloths, Copper Pearl is my go-to. The swaddle blankets are perfectly soft & stretchy, plus they have an array of beautiful prints & designs <they come out with new designs all the time!!> to choose from. I love the quality of all the Copper Pearl goods that we have for Luca, including little newborn beanies & bibs, too!

We got the Graco Duet Gliding Baby Swing as a baby gift from my mom, and I absolutely love it. You HAVE TO use the instructions for assembly, or you’ll end up feeling like a complete moron, lol. The top part of the assembly comes off to use as a stand-alone rocker with vibrating motion, and when attached to the bottom portion, the swing can move forward/backward, rock side-to-side, and plays music. Luca definitely loves his swing!

The stroller/car seat combo that we currently use for Luca is the Monbebe Blaze Travel System with the Boho print. I fell in love with the dark navy/white tie-dye print and the memory foam padding, along with the chrome & cognac detail on the handle of the stroller. The stroller is also super user-friendly when it comes to opening & closing. I had a hell of a time with getting Cyan’s stroller to open & close, and I remember being so mad at one point that I threw it across the yard (😅) I knew I wanted something less irritating this time around, and I am definitely happy with the one we chose! Did I mention that the print is identical to the MonBebe Flex Deluxe Pack&Play that we have? Also a baby shower gift (from my stepdad) but not one we’ve been able to use that often, as Luca is still little. I love the print and the ease-of-assembly on this play yard and look forward to getting quite a bit of use out of it in the future!

As far as a diaper bag goes, I’ve been using my LV MM Neverfull, and man, is that the truth, lol. I have seen the organizers, but if we’re being honest, I’m not really about that life right now 😂 I can shove diapers, wipes, extra outfits, pacis, books, and toys in there and still have room for my makeup bag! (That comes in handy, because I usually do my makeup on the go!) The bags I linked above are cute, more affordable versions of the Neverfull, but feel free to shoot me a message if you’re looking for a link to the real-deal!

I hope y’all enjoyed this post and that I could be of help or suggestion to new mamas or even those just looking for a baby shower gift!

XO
